The first 72 hours
You return from the clinic to your private accommodation with a nurse caregiver. Expect drainage, swelling and fatigue. Your nurse manages medications, compression, hydration, bathroom trips and the first gentle walks — and calls the surgeon if anything looks off.
Lymphatic massage
Manual lymphatic drainage moves fluid out of treated areas, reduces swelling and helps prevent fibrosis (hard lumps). Five sessions are included, beginning around Day 4; we show you how to continue at home.
Fajas and your supply bag
Compression shapes the result. Stage 1 fajas are worn continuously in the first weeks. Your fajas are custom-made to your measurements, and BBL clients receive a BBL pillow in their supply bag.
Week 1 to Day 90
Week 1: rest, walks, massages. Weeks 2–4: swelling reduces, desk work resumes, Stage 2 faja. Weeks 6–8: light exercise with clearance. Day 90: settled shape and your reveal. Your portal tracks each milestone and your team checks in at Day 7, 14, 30 and 90.
Warning signs we watch for
Fever, one-sided leg pain or swelling, shortness of breath, spreading redness or foul drainage need immediate medical attention. Your nurse and 24/7 line exist for exactly this.
Frequently asked questions
When can I fly home after surgery?+
On Day 7, after your post-op appointment — your return flight is included, with compression socks and an aisle seat.
What should I pack for recovery?+
Loose front-opening clothes, slip-on shoes, your medications list and comfort items. We send a full packing list to your portal.
